What is wrong with my oven or stove?
- Oven not heating. Burnt-out bake element on electric ovens and wall ovens, often visible as a break or blister. On gas ovens, a weak igniter that glows but never opens the valve.

- One burner or zone dead. Surface element or infinite switch on coil tops, a radiant element under glass, an induction coil or power board on induction, or an igniter, spark module or clogged burner head on gas.
- Gas smell. Turn off the gas at the shut-off and call. Igniter, valve or fitting; a licensed technician handles it.
- Door won't close, seal or lock. Hinges, door gasket, or the self-clean lock motor. A bad gasket is why preheating takes forever.
- Error codes, F1, F2, F3. Usually the temperature sensor or the control board.

The Wolf range in our rebuilt Willowdale kitchen has an oven that won't light. Do you service Wolf?
Yes. On Wolf gas ranges an oven that will not light is usually the igniter, and a burner that clicks without lighting is the igniter, spark module or a clogged burner head. Parts are factory-ordered, typically a second visit, and we quote before ordering. Stop using the affected burner until it is fixed.
One zone on the induction cooktop in our Sheppard condo is dead. Whole cooktop?
Not usually. Each zone has its own coil driven by a power board, so it is normally one of those two. Parts for Bosch, Samsung, LG, Frigidaire and Miele induction units are available, and we quote before ordering.
